A sidewalk in Springfield, IL, was sinking and needed to be addressed before potential tripping hazards emerged. There were also large gaps in between the concrete slabs that needed to be taken care of. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used to level the sidewalk. By drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath, the foam was able to expand to lift and level the concrete. Next, NexusPro™ was used to fill in the gaps in between the concrete slabs. This flexible sealant will withstand any harsh weather the homeowner may receive, as it is very durable. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their concrete is in great shape!

In order to give a naturally damp environment of a basement, our team decided to install CleanSpace Basement Wall, which is a vapor barrier on the wall for protecting the room. Helen W., Springfield, Illinois homeowner, was distraught by the amount of problems her wet crawlspace had caused. Mold and rotting were taking over her crawlspace, the support beams of the home began to sag.

Woods Basement Systems' foreman Josh B. installed the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that will keep her crawlspace dry and free of mold and rotting. As you can see, SmartJack was also installed to restore the sagging beams to their original position.

The EverLast Access Well provides easy access to the crawl space, while keeping water out and unwanted critters out. Because of the enclosed design, Helen will never have to worry about anyone falling into the well.

Foreman Dillon L. installed the perimeter drainage system WaterGuard, the TripleSafe sump pump system. and IceGuard. Pictured here is IceGuard. IceGuard provides an exit for water in the event that the discharge lines become frozen or clogged. With these three systems, Jessica will never have to worry about a wet basement.
