Del A was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. One of our System Design Specialists was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jeremy R Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Del’s Basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten the walls. 

A crawlspace in Teutopolis, IL was having some water problems, and it was making the space start to smell because of the mold that had begun to grow. To solve this Issue, Woods first installed the CleanSpace liner. This will isolate the crawlspace from the dirt, and keep it free of insects, water, and mold. Next, a SmartSump was installed to pump any water that gets in out of the house. Lastly, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was added to keep the crawlspace air clean and dry.
