A basement in Tolono, IL, was leaking and needed to be addressed. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collected any water that entered the basement. This system sits on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the collected water away from the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry and in great shape. 

This home in Shawneetown, Illinois was dealing with some serious foundation problems. The homeowner, Mike, was worried about the unstable support system holding up the basement walls. After a few estimates, he knew Woods Basement Systems was the company he wanted to have do the job. Our foreman Jesse C. and his team came out to the home to install PushPiers. PushPiers were installed from the interior and exterior of the home, next to the footing to lift and support the foundation. The installation of PushPiers provided a permanent solution for Mike’s home.

Mark and Mitzi W., Champaign, Illinois homeowners, were frustrated with their musty, moldy crawlspace. System design specialist Kevin E. designed a solution to keep their crawlspace dry and mold-free.

CleanSpace was installed by Josh B. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier, so it keeps the basement dry. It is inorganic, so it does not support mold growth. Mark and Mitzi can breath easily knowing they have a dry crawlsprace free of mold.

James M. of Champaign, Illinois was troubled by his uneven, cracked walkway. The walkway not only took away from his beautiful landscape, it was a safety hazard. System design specialist Cory S. desinged a solution to restore the walkway.

PolyLEVEL was installed by foreman Andrew T. and his team. PolyLEVEL is a long-lasting solution to lift and align concrete to its original, safe position. James no longer has worries about his settling concrete. He is thrilled to have a restored walkway.

This homeowner in Champaign, Illinois had an uneven floor above their crawlspace, due to failing supports below. Two supports had cement blocks topped with wood shivs and another board placed width-ways. This board has since buckled under the floor's pressure, forcing the homeowner to find another solution. The solution was the SmartJack™ crawlspace support system. Woods installed a support beam held by galvanized supports that hold more than 60,000 lbs. This solution returned this homeowner's floor to a horizontal position, and will prevent the floor from sagging in the future.
