Wall support was failing in a basement in Albion, IL, as the wall was continuing to shift. To solve this issue, Specialized GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These longer wall anchors are a customized solution for extreme foundation failure, as they will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. 

A crawlspace in Albion, IL was unsteady and needed stabilizing. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue SmartJack™ stabilizers were used to keep the crawlspace steady and safe. These stabilizers can be tightened over time, in case the crawlspace shifts. Michael P., foreman, installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier. It prevents water from entering the basement, and because it is inorganic, it does not support mold growth. Robert is pleased to know his crawl space is dry and mold-free.

A foundation was still cracking after being sealed in Greenup, IL, causing concern. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Eugene’s basement. The Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house, and the other will attach to the basement wall. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten the walls.
