Specialist Nolan M. determined that a WaterGuard waterproofing system needed to be installed to keep the water out. This gallery shows the process of installing WaterGuard in the basement under the stairs as well as how it is directed into the sump pump.

A sidewalk leading up to a house in Allendale, IL was sinking, causing large gaps to appear between the slabs. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. Woods installed WaterGuard as part of the waterproofing system. As seen in the pictures, WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. It is a drainage system the collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
