When Grover, MO resident, Jeff D. realized his sump pump was not working correctly, he did not hesitate to call in professionals. After coming across Woods Basement Systems in his research, he scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. Brian Cox arrived at Brian’s home on February 7, 2013.
After Brian’s systematic diagnoses, he told Jeff that his sump pump could not keep up with the freezing temperatures due to the discharge line freezing. In one of the coldest months of the year, Jeff was not sure that there was a way to prevent this problem. Then, Brian informed the homeowner on the innovative IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge Line System. This system includes a certified sump pump by the nationwide Basement Systems Network as well as the Basement Systems IceGuard anti-freeze device. Jeff was enthused that Woods Basement Systems had access to these advanced products & information. He scheduled the installation for the following week.
On February 19th, Mr. Robinson and his crew completed the entire project in one day. Brian now has a new sump pump that collaborates with the anti-freeze device. His basement will no longer flood when the discharge lines freeze in brutal temperatures.
This mold ridden Smithton, IL crawlspace was completed with a CleanSpace liner. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier which will block moisture from entering the crawlspace. This will in turn help with reducing allergens like mold and dust mites. Homeowner, Ronald W. was pleased to know that CleanSpace is also helpful in maintaining temperature control throughout the home, and his crawlspace has been given a new clean look.
This Robinson, IL basement needed help in protection from water damage. Homeowner, John V contacted Woods Basement Systems for a solution. It was determined that a TripleSafe Sump Pump System was to be installed. The TripleSafe is equipped with a battery backup. This means that in times of power outages, the system will still work. Pumps one and two also work together in times of heavy rain to make sure the basement stays protected.
It was determined that WaterGuard was to be installed in this Robinson, IL basement to help protect from water damage. The large drain holes in the system will help prevent from clogging as WaterGuard collects ground water and water seepage from the walls and directing it to the sump pump. Homeowner, John V is now pleased to know that his basement is now protected from water damage after the WaterGuard and TripleSafe Sump Pump installation.

Woods installed CleanSpace with a drainage mat under it. This would keep water out of the space and drain away the water that got into the space. The CleanSpace seals off the space, which would prevent mold and rotting wood from forming.
Woods also installed a vent cover to provide additional sealing of the crawlspace. The vent cover sealed off the vents completely and do not allow any water to get in through the vents.
Finally, Woods installed a sump pump that would pump out any water that would get into the area. The sump pump will pump out the water the a discharge line. This discharge line leads to the yard and can sometimes get clogged or frozen. To prevent this from backing up into the crawlspace, IceGuard was installed. IceGuard allows the water to have an escape route and to further prevent water from getting into the crawlspace.

Woods installed GeoLock wall anchors to provide support for the home. These anchors are attached to the wall and is anchored to the yard outside. This is done by using poles to extend past the active zone in the yard. Woods installed WaterGuard along the perimeter of the basement, under the concrete floors. WaterGuard is a drainage system that sits on top of the concrete footing of the home so it won’t become clogged with mud. It collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it to the sump pump.
Woods replaced the old sump pump with the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe contains a primary, secondary and back up battery pump to ensure encroaching water will be pumped out and away from the basement through the discharge lines, even in severe weather or power outages. IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines on the exterior of the home. IceGuards have slotted openings for water to escape if the lines become frozen or clogged so water won’t get back into the basement.

The Waterguard drainage system was installed above the footing in the basement. After installment, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects and drains any water rising from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The TripleSafe sump pump collects water from the Waterguard and moves it out of the home through a discharge line. It has a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump that promises a dry basement even if the power goes out.
Rachel L. no longer has to worry about a wet basement. She now has a waterproof and dry home.
Rod B. of St. Louis, MO noticed that the concrete underneath the patio outside of his home was cracking. Unaware of the issues this could cause, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems about fixing the problem.
Systems Design Specialist Phil H. visited their home and determined that foreman Andrew T. should install PolyLevel foam injection. This product is installed in 4 simple steps and works to lift the concrete back to the original position. He also informed Rod that concrete cracking can occur naturally as the result of the wear and tear of what the concrete is holding up in addition the concrete weight itself.
Since the installation of PolyLevel, Rod can rest assured that his patio is fixed.
Bob H. of Oblong, Illinois was shocked when he discovered that his home's crawl space was holding water. He knew that standing water could cause rotting and mold growth, so he called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.
Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartSump sump pump, and a SmartPipe drainage system. Foreman James L. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The CleanSpace encapsulation system was placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It is a durable liner that completely seals the crawl space from the earth and acts as a vapor barrier. The SmartPipe drainage system accepts water from both the soil and the surface of the crawl space. It drains any water from the ground to the sump pump. Finally, the SmartSump is a sump pump made specifically for crawl spaces. It collects and removes water from the crawl space through a discharge line.
Bob H. no longer has to worry about discovering a flooded crawl space. His home's crawl space is now dry and waterproof.
