Before Installation
Most crawlspaces are neglected after construction of the home. Leaving homeowners unaware of what could be happening right beneath their feet. Another benefit to crawlspace encapsulation and repair is that it creates a usable space for the homeowner, mostly for storage.
Insulation
Moisture from the outside air can cause the insulation installed at the floor joists above the crawlspace to fall out of place. Without that insulation you can experience cold floors just like this homeowner.
Sealing your Crawlspace
One of the most important steps of encapsulation is to ensure the crawlspace is truly sealed off from the elements outside. Most entries to crawlspaces are blocked off by a wood panel. We offer a plastic based panel that seals tighter and is less susceptible to wear and tear than the original wood panel.
Water Barrier Liner
Our crew installed our water barrier liner along the crawlspace walls and floors, this prevents from ever reaching the space at all, instead any water is sent directly to the sump pump.
Sump Pump
Our sump pump system will collect any leaks or water that could enter the crawlspace from behind the barrier liner and send it outside. Keeping the space dry and free of outside moisture.
