Before Installation
Although water had not shown itself in the space, in order to fully encapsulate it, waterproofing methods like the installation of the sump pump and barrier liner are necessary. Creating a dry and healthy crawlspace that is sealed from the outside air.
Openings to Crawlspace
Openings to your crawlspace, like this one, should be sealed. Most standard construction includes wood doors to block access to the crawlspace, which are susceptible to the elements and less durable. Woods provides plastic based covers that are more durable and create a tighter seal around the crawlspace.
Water Barrier Liner
Our water barrier liner is installed along the floor of the crawlspace. It not only creates a clean and organized storage space out of a once unusable dirt covered floor, but it also protects from leaks or water getting in to the crawlspace.
Dehumidifier System
The dehumidifier system runs continuously to remove moisture from the air of the crawlspace. This helps sealing it off from the outside air to keep the space protected.
Sump Pump
Our sump pump system will continuously remove water and leaks collected from underneath the barrier liner. Helping to eliminate water and moisture from the entire crawlspace.
