Foreman Jeremy R Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in Del’s Basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.

Foreman, Mason S. installed the product. PolyLevel is made of a polyurethane formula, or foam, and it is used to permanently lift and stabilize sinking concrete slabs. How it works is first, small, dime-sized holes are drilled into the concrete. Then, the polymer is injected into the void and within 15 minutes of installation, the concrete can be used again.

The soil beneath the basement can be compressed by the weight of the house as well as be affected by the weather. These factors can cause the soil to shrink or expand, which can push against the basement floor or leave it without support. 

Enough pushing and lack of support can cause cracking in the concrete as it rises and falls with the soil. In the past, the way to fix this was to add more soil. Called Mudjacking, this technique drilled large holes in the concrete and pumped heavy mud into the area beneath the floor. In addition to being messy (it's called mudjacking after all), this method might also add to the problem. The heavy, wet soil could just add weight and press the soil down even further. The water might also be absorbed by clays, which could expand and make the area larger.

Homeowners Abigail and Joe S. of Effingham, Illinois wanted to waterproof their basement. CleanSpace is a thick, durable, plastic liner (similar to a pool liner) lined with UltraFresh an antimicrobial agent to stop the growing of mold or bacteria growth. CleanSpace will brighten up the look of the crawlspace so Amy will be able to easily see her items stored in the space.

Kahn K. of Effingham, IL was concerned about water seepage in their basement during heavy rains. System Design Specialist Lucas B. knew that TripleSafe and WaterGuard would work well together to prevent any further leaks. Once Foreman Caleb L., along with his team, installed these systems, Kahn can enjoy a clean and dry basement.

Kyle W. of Dieterich, IL was looking for an effective solution to waterproof his basement. System Design Specialists Jeremy H. and Bre A. knew that a CleanSpace Wall System and WaterGuard would work well together. WaterGuard is a perimeter drain that has built in wall flanges to collect wall seepage and groundwater and redirects it into the sump pump. CleanSpace also brightens up the area, making it more attractive to look at. Once Foreman Juan H. and his crew installed these systems, Kyle can have the peace of mind that his basement will remain clean and dry.

Homeowners in Altamont, IL had water leaking into their basement.  Our team installed the TripleSafe and WaterGuard to collect the water and pump it out of the home.  The WaterGuard lines the perimeter of the basement and collects the water and drains it into the sump pump.  TripleSafe is a sump pump that is made up of a three-pump system and UltraSump battery in case of a power outage.  The homeowners are happy with their new systems and a dry basement!
