This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. After living in her home for 30 years, a resident of Altamont, IL called Woods Basement Systems to fix the walls that were caving in and cracking in her basement. The problem had been going on for 10 years, but she finally decided to do something about it once it became worse. The homeowner planned on living in her home for several years to come, and the structural damages to the basement walls worried her.
Woods installed Helical Piers in order to stabilize the walls and shift the home back toward its original position. These piers permanently stabilized the home’s foundation without the expense and disruption of a full foundation replacement. The resident was very pleased with the work that Woods did and rated them a 10 out of 10.
Paul of O'Fallon, IL really didn't like the way his crawlspace looked and wanted to feel less intimidated any time he needed to go into his crawlspace so he contacted Woods Basement Systems, Inc. for a free quote. Aaron felt strongly that Paul needed a CleanSpace Liner to give his crawlspace a more inviting look. He also believed Paul needed a few waterproofing materials to keep his crawlspace dry.
Feeling that Aaron's suggestions were exactly what he needed, Paul scheduled a day for one of the foremen at Woods, Joshua, to install the liner and the other materials he needed for his crawlspace. Joshua and his team spent an entire day installing everything Paul's crawlspace needed, and after the project was completed, Paul was very satisfied and rated the work as a ten.
Joshua of Bartelso, IL did not feel comfortable with the way his basement walls were bowing. He was concerned that if they were left untreated, they would fall and possibly hurt someone. Out of concern, he contacted Woods Basement Systems, Inc. of Collinsville, IL for a free quote. Woods sent one of their system design specialists, Chris, to Joshua's home to inspect the damage. Chris believed Joshua needed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchor system to keep his walls from falling as well as realign them back to their original positions. Chris showed Joshua how the anchor system worked, and Joshua agreed with Chris's diagnosis.
On board with having Geo-Lock Wall Anchors installed in his basement, Joshua scheduled for Jeremy, one of the foremen at Woods Basement Systems, Inc., and his crew to install the anchors. This homeowner in Effingham, IL had cracks developing in their basement walls, and not only minor cracks, but large cracks continually increasing in size from the bottom to the top of the walls. For the homeowner who uses the basement for recreational purposes, this would become a problem if not addressed soon. After the cracks form, it's only a matter of time before the walls begin to bow or cave in, which would be disastrous for the home's structure. We installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors and Power Braces on the two walls with the large cracks. The Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are metal plates placed on the wall with large metal rods reaching outside into the yard underground, fixated to anchors, which prevents the wall from bowing in and corrects any bowing that has already occurred. The Power Braces are added support to the wall to help stabilize it. These are similar solutions to a failing wall, but the Power Braces are installed on a wall that does not have the sufficient room on the outside to install the Wall Anchors. In this case, the home was too close to a neighbor's yard to install the Wall Anchors. Now this homeowner does not need to worry about their basement walls bowing in.

Sagging and unleveled floors are likely caused by the brick columns in the crawlspace being too spaced apart or weakened floor joists and girders. The SmartJack uses a steel support system to stabilize and level the floor joists which lifts the floor above back to its original position. After the installation is done, it can hold more than 60,000 pounds.
Because of Woods Basement System, Al B. no longer has any worries about the safety and security of his home

The TwinPack sump pump is a double system pump that will give Denise the dependability that she deserves because if one pump fails, the other pump will switch on.

This basement in Sappington, MO. belonging to Joan H. was settling at two different heights causing cracks like this to appear. The soil beneath the basement can be compressed by the weight of the house as well as be affected by the weather. These factors can cause the soil to shrink or expand, which can push against the basement floor or leave it without support.
Enough pushing and lack of support can cause cracking in the concrete as it rises and falls with the soil. In the past, the way to fix this was to add more soil. Called Mudjacking, this technique drilled large holes in the concrete and pumped heavy mud into the area beneath the floor. In addition to being messy (it's called mudjacking after all), this method might also add to the problem. The heavy, wet soil could just add weight and press the soil down even further. The water might also be absorbed by clays, which could expand and make the area larger.
Instead of mudjacking, Mason S. leveled Joan's basement with PolyLevel™ foam. This super tough foam is injected through holes in the floor similar to mudjacking. The difference? PolyLevel™ uses holes that are far smaller and more easily repaired. Additionally, PolyLevel™ solidfies in minutes, meaning the concrete can be used that same day, be it a driveway or a basement. And because it's so light, PolyLevel™ adds strength without adding weight to the soil beneath the floor. This makes PolyLevel™ a permanent solution that won't just add to the sinking like weighty mudjacking does. Cracks will close up and Joan won't have to worry about uneven floors as PolyLevel™ returns the floor to level in only a few short minutes.

This home in Dieterich, IL. is protected by Woods Basement Systems' TripleSafe™ sump pump system. The TripleSafe™ system is a single sump pit liner that houses three seperate pumps. These pumps can work one at a time or all together to keep the basement dry no matter the conditions.
The TripleSafe™ is more than just three pumps though. It is housed in a special liner that can absorb water from the ground around it witout allowing it to escape into the basement. The air tight lid also means water can't evaporate into the basement and make the air feel damp. The TripleSafe™ also features a special alarm system that can alert the homeowner to leaks that enter the sump pump from above, such as in the event of a plumbing leak. The alarm can also alert homeowners to dangerously high water levels in the sump pit so the homeowner knows to check that the pumps are working. Since it has three pumps, the TripleSafe™ is pretty well protected from overfilling. One of the three pumps is battery powered, so it can turn on to keep the basement protected even when the power goes out and the other two pumps can't operate.
All these features and more make the TripleSafe™ the best sump pump system for its price. This home in Dieterich, IL. will be well protected from water damage thanks to the TripleSafe™ system.
Foundation walls like this one in Effingham, IL. can come under a lot of pressure from the soil around the home as it naturally expands with the weather. This pressure can cause damage to the foundation walls such as cracking and bowing.
As the soil expands and presses against the foundation wall, the wall weakens and cracks then begins to bow inward. If not fixed in time, the wall might even collapse! Fortunately, there is a way to fix this problem permanently.
The solution is to install wall anchors. Wall anchors work by connecting an anchor plate buried outside in the compressed soil with an interior plate against the wall. This connection is tightened, which pulls the interior plate - and by extension, the wall - back toward the anchor plate. This pulling force counters the pushing force of the expanding soil and permanently supports the wall. The system can even straighten the wall back to its original position, allowing the homeowner to properly repair the cracks.
Once wall anchors are installed, these cracked and bowing walls will be permanently supported and the homeowners won't have to worry about collapsing foundation walls.
