Sub-Floor Drainage
The darkened area along the basement perimeter indicates where the sub-floor drainage system is installed. This system collects water from around the basement and directs it to the sump pump for safe removal.
Sump Pump
The sump pump collects water from the sub-floor drainage system and pumps it up and out of the basement through the white discharge lines.
Discharge Lines
The white tubes are called discharge lines, these send water that is collected from the sump pump up and out of the home.
Sump Pump System
A sump pump can be an incredibly valuable resource in your home. When water gets into your basement, the sump pump is what protects you from a flood that could cause expensive property damage. If you've had issues with water in your basement -- and even if you haven't -- it's smart to protect your home with a quality sump pump from Woods Basement Systems, Inc.
Exterior Discharge Lines
The two white tubes on this homes exterior are the exterior discharge lines. Our system is engineered to continue waterproofing even in extreme cold weather.
Drainage System
Our basement drain systems take this drainage concept to the next level by using a wall flange that allows seepage to enter the drain and collects water off the walls to easily funnel it away from your foundation.
Lawnscape
The last step in the waterproofing process is the lawn outlet where the discharge lines lead water. In this image you can see the outlet is a small green circle that is far from the home.
Battery Back Up
Of course, in many cases water issues in the basement are caused by severe weather that can knock out power. With that in mind, we created the UltraSump® Battery Backup System to ensure continued protection no matter what happens. In the event of loss of power the battery backup will automatically kick in and begin removing water from your basement, preventing a flood.
