This Highland, Illinois home suffered damage from foundation cracks. Woods Basement Systems stabilized the foundation walls with a wall anchor system.

A foundation was in need of some support in Highland, IL, so the GeoLock Wall Anchor System was installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. Smart Jacks, pictured above, are attached to the floor joists above the crawl space. Once the posts are installed, they are adjusted to help raise and level the floors. The Smart Jacks can be adjusted anytime necessary to help level the home.
