External pressure from unstable soil conditions can damage foundation walls, causing tilting, bowing and cracking. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked walls to counteract the external soil pressure. Then connected walls plates in the interior of the walls to earth anchors embedded in stable soil conditions in the yard with anchor rods. The walls are permanently stabilized and can even be straightened over time by tightening the anchors during dry periods.

A foundation was settling in Lovington, IL, causing cracks to form on the outside of it. To solve this issue, the Push Pier System was installed. These will permanently stabilize the foundation, and in many cases, lift it back toward its original position. These can also close cracks and improve the operation of windows and doors.
