Geneva and Obbie B were concerned when they noticed that their basement walls were beginning to bow. So, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Austin G was able to come up with the solution to the problem.
Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in Geneva and Obbie’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house and the other will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.
A foundation was settling in a basement in Arnold, MO, causing large cracks to appear and grow near the windows. to solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed and sealed so that no water can leak through. This foundation will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
A foundation was shifting in Arnold, MO, causing vertical cracks to form. To solve this issue, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any inward movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. This foundation will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
A home in Bridgeton, Missouri, needed some support piers installed, as the home was starting to show signs of foundation failure. Woods came out and installed the Push Pier System to address this issue. This will permanently stabilize the home's settling foundation and in many cases, raise it back up. Engineered steel tube sections are driven through steel foundation brackets, past unstable soils, to the solid bedrock beneath it. This will transfer the home's weight evenly on solid ground, rather than the unstable soils supporting it previously. With this installation in place, this home will remain stable for many years to come.
A house with foundation settlement issues in Farmington, Missouri started getting cracks in the exterior walls that needed repaired. To resolve this issue, Woods installed The Push Pier System to permanently stabilize the foundation. The Push Pier System consists of hydraulically driven steel tube sections that are driven past unstable topsoils to the sturdy bedrock beneath it. This helped stabilize the foundation and resolve the cracks forming on the exterior walls.
