Foundation Repair - Helical Piers Installed to Secure a St. Charles, MO Billboard

In this photo you can see the dirt that had to be excavated near the base of the billboard and the concrete that was originally poured to secure it. Just behind the equipment is the fully excavated area for the construction of the Drury hotel. Before construction of the hotel can be completed the ground that the equipment in the photo is sitting on will also need to be dug out. If all of that surrounding dirt were to be removed without first securing the base of the billboard, that sign would be at high risk of falling over and being a major safety issue. Here you can see Woods Basement Systems' crew checking the correct angle that the piers must be installed at to properly support the concrete base of the billboard.
