A young couple in Charleston, IL had recently purchased their home when they began having foundation settlement issues. Their paved driveway was cracked and cracks were appearing in the foundation walls. During heavy rains, water would enter in through the cracks, causing the basement to flood.
Woods Basement Systems first attempted at closing the wall cracks by installing Push Piers around the outside perimeter of the home. They also installed WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump in order to permanently waterproof the basement. The residents were highly satisfied with the work done by Woods and now enjoy a dry basement.

Foreman Ryan L installed CleanSpace Drainage Matting in Martha’s crawl space. CleanSpace is a heavy plastic liner that will line the floor and walls of the crawl space. It prevents moisture from getting in and allows water to drain.

A CleanSpace Liner was also put on the walls to give a clean finished look to the basement walls. This will also stop water vapor from entering and drain leaks down to the WaterGuard system, which was installed to catch, seal up, and drain away water to the sump system.
