Effective Concrete Leveling & Concrete Sealing

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it.

How PolyLevel works:

  1. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab.
  2. Then the PolyLevel polymer is injected into the holes and expands to provide an accurate lift.
  3. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on.

This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive, and arguably more effective than mud jacking, which is the standard that PolyLevel replaces. We even offer SealantPro concrete sealing, which extends slabs' lifespans by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

To remove tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel concrete leveling. After, our concrete sealing system will preserve your slabs for a lifetime. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling or concrete sealing estimate, contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

Job Stories From Warren County, MO
Warrenton, MO Home Warrants Foundation Repair

When foundation settlement happens, other problems occur in result to this bigger issue.  Larry started noticing large cracks appearing on the outside of his house in various places.  He soon met with a System Design Specialist from Woods Basement Systems and decided that push piers would be the correct action to take to prevent further settlement.

Push piers are installed and driven to load-bearing strata to stabilize foundations, and – in many cases – even lift structures back to level.  Once installed, the weight of your home now rests on solid ground rather than the unstable soil it was originally built upon.  This ensures the foundation will not settle any further and will restore the property value.

Production Supervisor Jessir Carson did a wonderful job installing the pier system.  Larry especially liked how knowledgeable the guys were about the work, how much they seemed to care about the job they were doing and how nice they were.  Overall, Larry was very satisfied with the results.  He plans to use Woods Basement Systems again if anything else needs fixing.

Behind the finished walls, the foundation walls were bowing inward and long, horizontal cracks spanned across the area where the bowing was the worst. Sedona Dehumidifier Installed in Wright City, MO.

James B. from Wright City, MO. had a problem with damp air in his home. Damp air can not only be uncomfortable, but also unhealthy and expensive.

Moisture in the air can feed mold growth and sustain dust mites, both of which release particles back into the air. These particles can inflame allergies or even lead to asthma in severe cases. The moisture in the air also makes the air harder to condition, leading to increased spending on heating and cooling.

The solution to all these problems is the Sedona. The Sedona is a powerful dehumidifier that can wring the air in a basement dry at up to 100 liters per day. While drying the air, the Sedona will also filter out particles like mold spores and dust mite droppings, making the air cleaner and healthier. The Sedona is also kind on the wallet, using the same amount of power as smaller, 40-liters-per-day dehumidifiers and making the air easier to condition.

With the Sedona dehumidifier in his home, James B. can breath happy knowing his air is dry and healthy.

Unsupported Porch

The front porch on this home in Warrenton, MO., as well as other spots around the house, had begun to show signs of uneven settling. After a home is built, it naturally settles slightly into the ground as the weight of the structure compresses the soil beneath it. Occasionally, this settling occurs unevenly, usually because of different soil compositions or water levels beneath the home, resulting in sloped floors, unsupported section of the home and structural damage.

Some signs of uneven settling in the home include cracks in foundation walls, doors and windows that stick and are hard to open or close, cracks in the drywall near door and window frames and seperation between parts of the home like a porch, fireplace or a driveway.

To solve this problem, Woods Basement Systems installs a support system called push piers. These cylindrical piers are hydraulically pressed through a bracket that attaches to the footing near the unsupported areas. The piers are pressed into stable soil, called load bearing strata, that will not compress or sink like the soil the house is sitting on. Once the piers reach this depth, the uneven portions of the house are brought to level and the weight of the home is supported permanently by the piers. This system is so effective that the warranty for the piers lasts for the entire life of the structure!

The owners of this home in Warrenton, MO. won't have to worry about eneven floors or the porch seperating from the front of the house once the push pier system is installed. Push piers will support the home and keep it level permanently.

GeoLock Wall Anchor Support

The GeoLock anchor system permanently stabilizes your foundation wall and, in many cases, can straighten your wall back toward its original position. Heavy-duty earth anchors are embedded in stable soil away from your foundation wall, and are then connected to steel anchors with long, galvanized rods. Once tightened, the anchors will hold the wall securely in its current position without any further adjustment. However, a unique benefit of the system includes the ability to tighten the anchors during dry seasons, meaning you can improve and even completely straighten your walls over time.
