Fast and Effective Concrete Lifting and Leveling

The major flaw of concrete is that the ground that it was poured on top of will inevitably shift and sink over time. In the states of Illinois and Missouri sinking concrete is all too common which is why our company has gone to great lengths to develop fast and effective concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel is a revolutionary product that is minimally invasive and not only lifts and levels concrete but also stabilizes it.

How PolyLevel works:

  1. The concrete lifting and leveling process begins with a few small holes drilled in the slab.
  2. Then the PolyLevel polymer is injected into the holes and expands to provide an accurate lift.
  3. After only about 15 minutes the polymer is dry and the concrete is ready to be walked and even driven on.

This concrete lifting and leveling technique is faster, less disruptive, and arguably more effective than mud jacking, which is the standard that PolyLevel replaces. We even offer SealantPro concrete sealing, which extends slabs' lifespans by 3 to 5 times overall in just one quick application. This concrete sealing system is resistant to moisture, oil, UV rays, abrasions, and more.

To remove tripping hazards, stabilize concrete, and lift it back to a level height nothing is faster or more effective than PolyLevel concrete leveling. After, our concrete sealing system will preserve your slabs for a lifetime. To schedule a FREE concrete lifting and leveling or concrete sealing estimate, contact us today!

We can Fix:
  • Sunken sidewalks
  • Sagging steps
  • Uneven patios
  • Sinking driveways

Homeowner Erica L. of Greenville, Illinois needed her basement waterproofed. Just recently moving into her new home she had realized that rainwater was coming through where the floor meets the wall in the basement. Concerned, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems.

Our team installed several items including WaterGuard, IceGuard, and TripleSafe sump pump system. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the basement, on-top of the footing. By installing WaterGuard on-top of the footing, this ensures that the drainage system does not become clogged by dirt or debris.

Sinking Foundation Righted With Push Piers In Greenville, IL

Joseph H. of Greenville, Illinois began to notice cracks on the interior flooring and in the exterior brickwork of his home. He suspected that this was a result of foundation settlement, but he wasn't sure. Needing an expert opinion, Joseph called Woods Basement Systems.

Design speciliast Mike visited Joseph's home and determined that the foundation was, in fact, settling. In order to stop the damage and support the foundation for the life of the structure, a Woods team installed several Low-Profile Push Piers. These incredibly strong galvanized-steel supports are inserted through small holes underneath the foundation before being adjusted to lift it back to level. Joseph's house is now totally level!

Waterproofing in Greenville, Illinois

Curtis P. of Greenville, Illinois had water leaking into his basement, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Bill C. recommended installing WaterGuard and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

Foreman, Michael J. installed the products. WaterGuard is a waterproofing system that is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump in order for it to be removed from the home. Sanidry Sedona is a dehumidifier that works to keep all moisture out of the air to prevent water damage from vapor that may come through the walls.

Now Curtis P. has a dry basement.

TripleSafe Installed in Greenville, Illinois

Beverly S. of Greenville, Illinois needed some preventative waterproofing done, so she called Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard, and IceGuard.

Foreman, Joshua B. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to keep your home protected with its primary pump, secondary pump, and battery-powered backup pump. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through basement walls and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home. IceGuard is put on the outside of the home and it allows water to expel from the guards in the event that pipes clog or leak.

Now Beverly has a secure basement.

Basement Waterproofing in Greenville, IL

Mary H. of Greenville, Illinois noticed that water was entering her home's basement every time it stormed. She did not want this problem to keep happening, so she called Woods Basement Systems for help.

Design specialist Paul W. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system, a CleanSpace wall system, and a TripleSafe sump pump. Foreman Mason S. then headed to the home to get the job started.

The CleanSpace wall system is a plastic liner that was attached to the walls of the basement. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that occur behind it. The Waterguard drainage system was installed above the footing of the basement. It accepts and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. The TripleSafe sump pump then removes the water from the home through a discharge line. The TripleSafe is equipped with a primary, secondary, and battery powered pump.

Mary H. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding after heavy rain storms. She now has a dry and waterproof home.

SmartJack Installation in Greenville, IL

Homeowner, Tina M. gave Woods Basement System a call when she discovered the floors of her basement were unleveled and sagging. The cause of the basement floors sagging is likely due to the brick columns in crawlspace being too spaced apart or the weakened floor joists and girders.

System design specialist, Brenton K. did an inspection on the home and was able to create a design that would completely fix the problem. Foreman, Joshua B. did a SmartJack Crawlspace Stabilzer installment. A steel support system is used with the SmartJack to help stabilize and level both the girders and floor joists. Once the job is done, the SmartJack Crawlspace Stabilizer can hold up to 60,000 pounds.

Tina M. now has a safe and secure home.

Wet Basement Waterproofed in Greenville, IL

Mary H. from Greenville, IL noticed that her basement was wet after a heavy rainfall. Realizing the issues this was causing for her home, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate about fixing the issue.

Systems Design Specialist Paul W. evaluated the situation and determined that appropriate solution would be to have foreman Mason S. waterproof the basement. He started by installing WaterGuard, IceGuard and Triple Safe sump pump. All three of these products work with one another to stop the water from entering the basement. WaterGuard works to collect the water and stop it from reaching the surface, and pushes it through Triple Safe sump pump, while IceGuard stops water from backing up in the winter months when freezing is a concern.

Since the waterproofing of her basement, Mary no longer has to fear rain in the forecast.

Radon Mitigation Installation in Greenville, IL

After homeowner, Kathy M. did a radon test on her home she realized it was above a dangerous level of 4.0 picocuries per liter (pCi/L) and immediately gave Woods Basement System a call.

Our system design specialist headed over to Greenville to further explain the issue and the solution with the homeowner. Foreman, Brett J. did a radon mitigation system installation to reduce the radon level in the home. Radon cannot be tasted, seen, or smelled so many homeowners do not recognize the danger it is causing in their home. Radon is a toxic gas that if at a high level, can put people at risk for lung cancer. It is the top leading cause of lung cancer in the United States.

The radon mitigation system contains PVC pipes that run around and under the home. The PVC pipes collects the toxic gas and releases it away from the home. Kathy M. is at peace knowing the radon level has reduced tremendously thanks to the radon mitigation system.

Wall Anchor Installment in Greenville, IL

Lester H. of Greenville, Illinois noticed that a couple walls in his home's basement were bowing and cracking. He did not want to ignore the problem and allow it to get worse, so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Joshua L. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a few wall anchors. Foreman Jeremy R. then headed to the home to get the job started. Wall anchors are made of steel and extend from the inside walls of the home to the hard packed soil outside. They stabilize and prevent further movement of the wall.

Lester H. no longer has to worry about his wall cracking and bowing. He now has stable and safe basement walls.

Waterproofing in Greenville, IL Basement

Sarah of Greenville, Illinois had to deal with her basement flooding every time it rained more than a couple inches. The water was coming up from a seam in the floor and the bottom of the walls. She was tired of dealing with this problem, so she called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Thomas W. assured the homeowner that her problems would be solved. Foreman Melvin F. traveled to the home to install a Waterguard system and a TripleSafe sump pump, and to fix the seam in the floor. The TripleSafe sump pump has a primary, secondary, and battery-powered pump that ensures a dry basement even when the power goes out. The sump pump collects water and pushes it out of the home through an exterior discharge line. The Waterguard system is installed above the footing and collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. Finally, the seam in the flooring was covered by concrete to prevent future leaks.

Sarah B. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding when it rains. She now has a dry and waterproof basement.

Radon Mitigation System Makes Home's Air Safer in Greenville, IL

Leslie M. of Greenville, IL had a radon problem in her home. She knew something was wrong when her husband was having breathing trouble in the basement so she did two radon tests. The first found levels were 7.6 pCi/l and the second found levels were 12.3 pCi/l. Both readings were much higher than the 4.0 pCi/l that the Environmental Protection Agency established as the standard for indoor air so she called Woods Basement Systems. Design Specialist Jeremy R. inspected the home and found that a sub-slab active radon mitigation system would be the best solution.

Radon is a radioactive carcinogenic gas that can accumulate in homes. The main source of radon is the soil surrounding the foundation. Woods drilled a hole through the slab floor of the foundation. This hole becomes the path of least resistance for radon and draws it upward. A PVC pipe is installed in the hole to direct it upward. The pipe in this instance was run on the outside of the home but the system can also run through the inside. It is connected to a fan that vents the radon up above the attic and safely away from the home. Passive systems don’t always succeed at keeping radon levels below 4 pCi/l. Fans make the system actively draw and vent the radon upward and do so without making much noise or using much power.

Leslie has peace of mind now that radon levels are safe in her home and she and her family can breathe easily again.

Finished Basement Waterproofed in Greenville, IL

The finished basement of Kurt B.’s Greenville, IL home was being ruined by unwanted water coming in each time it rained. His carpet had been stained and water damaged and he was worried that he might have even bigger problems on his hands if he didn’t get the water problem taken care of so he called Woods Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate. Design Specialist Dave P. inspected the basement and found the perfect solution would be to install a waterproofing system.

Woods installed WaterGuard under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is a drainage system that sits on top of the concrete footing of the basement so it will remain free of mud while it drains away any water from the foundation walls and floors to the sump pump.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed to collect the water from the WaterGuard. The TripleSafe contains two powerful, cast-iron pumps and a battery back up pump to keep pumping water out of the basement through its discharge lines, even if weather is severe or there’s a power outage. On the exterior of the home, IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines. They have slotted openings that allow water to escape and not come back into the basement if the discharge lines have become frozen during winter months.

Kurt B. has peace of mind that his finished basement won’t get damaged by water again and he can safely store his belongings.

WaterGuard and EverLast Half Installed in Greenville, Illinois

Greenville, Illinois homeowners John and Linda C. were troubled by water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water caused damage to their drywall and risked damaging their valuables. System design specialist Walt C. designed a solution to restore the basement.

To Waterproof the basement, foreman Thomas B. installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a perimeter drainage system that collects and guides water away from the basement. The EverLast Half-Wall was also installed. EverLast is inorganic and waterproof, so it does not support mold growth. EverLast Half-Wall has a beautiful, timeless design.

John and Linda are thrilled that their basement is dry, and they can enjoy their beautiful living space.

WaterGuard and SaniDry Installed in Greenville, IL

Charlotte S. of Greenville, IL had water leaking into her basement, making it an uncomfortable and humid living space. Woods Basement Systems was able to provide products to make the basement more comfortable.

Woods installed WaterGuard to help drain water out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed against the wall in the concrete of the floor. The water will flow into the WaterGuard, allowing the piping to lead the water out of the basement.

A SaniDry was also installed to filter moisture out of the air in the basement. A SaniDry is a dehumidifier for the space and will help control the humidity. Controlling the humidity of the basement will reduce energy bills and make the home more comfortable because the air that is moving through the basement is more controlled.

Waterproofing and Wall Stabilization in Greenville, IL.

Jamie and Trevor W. had a basement that was nearly unlivable. The walls were bowing and cracking which was letting water get in and flood their basement. They couldn't take it anymore so they called Woods Basement Systems. Tim W. found the solution for their basement.

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed. Steel rods were driven through the walls into the surrounding soil and tightened to keep the walls stable and straighten them over time.

Waterguard was installed in the cement next to the walls to guide the encroaching water into the TripleSafe sump system. The Triplesafe sump system pumps unwanted water through the discharge line and out of the basement and has battery back up so even if the power goes out, the pumps will continue to keep the basement dry. An Iceguard was installed so that if the discharge line becomes clogged or freezes, the water won't drain back into the basement.

A Sanidry system was also installed. The Sanidry keeps the relative humidity low to prevent mold from forming and get rid of any musty smell.

Jamie and Trevor W. are thrilled that their basement is finally livable and safe.

Greenville, Illinois Basement Protected with IceGuard

Kay H., Greenville, Illinois homeowner, was troubled by water leaking into her crawlspace. The water caused mold and odor. System design specialist Chris G. designed a solution.

Foreman Thomas B. installed an external pump system. The pump system keeps the water out of crawlspace. IceGuard was installed in addition to the pump system. IceGuard provides and exit for water in the event that the discharge lines become frozen or clogged. Kay is thrilled to know her home will stay dry.
