Instead of a single sump pump expelling water through a single discharge line, John installed a TripleSafe™ sump pump with an additional discharge line. The TripleSafe™ system has a main pump that does most of the work, as well as a backup pump that can help out when water levels rise. On top of that is a third, battery-powered backup pump that can switch on when power goes out to keep water levels down. 

In addition to the new pump, John added a Sedona dehumidifier. The Sedona will pull out up to 100 pints of water from the air a day and dump it into the sump pump so it can be removed from the home. The Sedona can also filter the air, removing things like mold spores that can cause smells and inflame alergies.

To fix this, Scott M and his crew installed GeoLock Wall Anchors to help support the foundation. These will permanently stabilize the foundation and repair the cracks. A CleanSpace wall was also installed to prevent water vapor from getting in, and allowing water to drain behind the liner into WaterGuard, which was also installed to catch and drain away water to the sump system. Thomas can now rest assured knowing that the foundation won’t fail and his basement will stay dry!
