A sidewalk in O'Fallon, MO, was unleveled and had large seams that needed to be sealed. The homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used to level the sidewalk. This system works by drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath. The foam then expands to lift and level the concrete slab. Next, NexusPro™ was used to seal the seams and any cracks in the concrete. This flexible sealant will withstand any harsh weather the homeowner may receive, as it is very durable. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their concrete is in great shape!
Mike and Elese S. in O'Fallon, MO had a failing foundation in their home. Woods Basement Systems installed GeoLock wall anchors to support the foundation. These anchors will be attached to the wall and anchored out in the yard.
O'Fallon, Missouri residents Joan and Rick B. were troubled by water leaking into their basement where the floor meets the wall. The water seepage caused a concern for mold and damage.
System desing specialist Nolan M. designed a solution to keep the basement dry. Foreman Juan H. and his team installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects the water and guides it away from the basement. Joan and Rick can now enjoy their dry basement with no worries about mold and damage.
Cracks forming in foundation walls can be a sign of a more serious underlying issue. Matt R. of O’Fallon, MO noticed that he was constantly patching cracks in his walls and new ones would form in their place. He also noticed the walls appeared to be leaning, as shown in the pictures, in so he called Woods Basement Systems for an assessment. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the leaning and cracking walls. Steel wall plates, as shown in the picture, are attached to earth plates that have been buried in the yard using galvanized steel anchor rods. The rods are tightened and will permanently stabilize the walls, preventing any future movement and can also straighten the walls in most cases.
Matt R. is happy he won’t have to patch cracks in his walls anymore.
Steve C. had long cracks along the foundation walls of his basement. They were allowing water to get into the basement and he was worried they might be a sign of larger problems so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommeneded extending his waterproofing system and installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors were installed along the cracked wall, as shown in the picture. Steel wall plates on the inside of the foundation wall connected to earth anchors by galvanized steel anchor rods counteract the pressure from soil on the outside of the wall. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors permanently stabilize the walls and can in most case straighten the walls by tightening the anchor rods during dry periods.
