In the before photo you can see the cracked uneven driveway. This is caused by freezing and thawing of the ground below the concrete through the seasons here in the Midwest. These St. Peters, MO homeowners called Woods Basement Systems, Foundation Support Works, to assess the issue and offer a solution. Our System Design Specialist came out to look over the property and customized a solution to correct the issue. Our installation team then drilled into the drive way and injected the PolyLEVEL solution. This solution is waterproof, stable, and does not react with the soil or moisture (it will not leach harmful chemicals into the surrounding soil).
In the after photo you can see that the PolyLEVEL solution has raised the concrete back to its original position! The solution is also quick curing, PolyLEVEL will raise the concrete after just 15 minutes of injection, and then the lifted concrete can be driven over after just an hour and a half.
The installation crew then fills the drilled holes with concrete and it's like we were never there! Your driveway or sidewalks will be fully functional and looking pretty after just a couple hours of work!
Tracie G. of St. Peters, Missouri was troubled by her old window well. It allowed debris and water to enter and was a perfect home for unwanted critters. System design specialist Jeremy K. designed a solution.
Foreman Mason S. installed SunHouse Window Well. SunHouse allows natural light to enter the basement while keeping critters and debris away. Tracie is pleased with the looks and effectiveness of her new window well.
Donna H. had a leaky basement in her St. Peters, MO home. She's tried patching leaking cracks in her walls but water kept getting in so she called Woods Basement Systems for a free assessment. Woods recommended a waterproofing system.
WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. WaterGuard is installed underneath the concrete floors, along the walls (as shown in the picture.) It's situated on top of the concrete footing of the basement so it won't be clogged by mud as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
Karen and Aaron of St. Peters, MO had a plumber install a sump pump in an open pit. Unfortunately, it was installed improperly which had caused the pump turn on constantly and burn out. Water was still getting into their basement so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended replacing the old pump and open pit with a TripleSafe sump system.
Woods replaced the old, burnt out pump with the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe contains a primary, secondary and battery back up pump in an airtight sealed sump liner. The TripleSafe ensures the basement will remain dry even in severe weather and power outages.
It’s important to waterproof a basement before finishing it because water can wreak havoc on finished walls and floors which will cost a homeowner even more to repair. Penny B. of St. Peters, MO had started to finish her basement when a heavy downpour caused water to leak in. She spent hours cleaning up the mess and her store bought humidifier was no match for the amount of water that got in, so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
Woods installed the TripleSafe as part of the waterproofing system. The TripleSafe contains a primary, secondary and battery operated back up pump. Even in severe weather, the TripleSafe ensures that the encroaching water is removed and the basement remains dry. The battery back up offers extra protection if the power goes out and can remove up to 11,000 gallons of water from the basement on its charge.
