Mark of St. Peters, Missouri had a history of water leaking into his basement and wanted to take action. He reached out to Woods Basement Systems to find what could restore his basement. He met with system design specialist, Pete L., who recommended installing CleanSpace. Here you can see the basements transformation.

This St. Peters, Missouri home was showing tell-tale signs of settling: sticking doors and windows and cracks in the cieling, just to name a few. The homeowner called Woods Basement Systems for help, and a team installed several Push Piers underneath the foundation in order to lift and level it. These supports will remain for support for the life of the structure.

Homeowner Ken S. from Saint Peters, MO. knew he needed to replace his old sump pump to keep his basement safe from flooding. Dave P. helped him by installing a new sump pump that could keep his basement dry. But this sump pump won'twork when the power goesout.

To make sure Ken S. was protected even when the power goes out, Dave P. also installed an UltraSump™ battery-powered backup pump that will kick on automatically when water gets too high for the first pump or when the power goes out to keep the basement safe and dry. 

Not only did Ken get a new sump pump, he got peace of mind with a battery backup that will continue to keep his basement dry during power outages.

Dave P. from Woods Basement Systems was performing an annual maintenance check on a home in Saint Peters, MO. when he noticed that the IceGuard™ system outside had become detached from the discharge line. 

The IceGuard™ system is designed to channel water into the buried discharge line and allow water to leak out only in the event of a blocked or frozen discharge line. Water would leak out of the gaps in the system rather than build up in the sump pump and flood the basement. If the IceGuard™ system becomes detached it could leak water out of the discharge line and right next to the home. While this issue would likely have relatively little impact on the home's ability to stay dry, Dave P. took the opportunity to fix it.

This home in St. Peters, MO. had previously hired Woods Basement Systems to install wall anchors to protect the foundation walls from cracking and bowing inward. These wall anchors work by pulling an interior plate toward an anchor buried outside. This pulling force supports the wall permanently and can be used to straighten walls that have become bent inward in the middle. 

Recently, Mike B. from Woods Basement Systems visited this home to inspect the waterproofing and wall anchor systems. Maintenance inspections like this would offer the opportunity to tighten the wall anchor systems to help futher straighten the wall if needed. While that wasn't required during this check, Mike B. was able to add covers to the low profile wall anchor plates. These plates are thin enough to be hidden behind finished walls or furniture items. In this case, since neither were present, a simple cover was installed that would hide the unsightly plate from view but still offer access to maintenance crews if needed.

During his routine maintenance inspection, Mike B. was still able to accomodate the requests of the homeowners and live up to the Woods Basement Systems team's goal; To ensure every customer has a remarkable experience.
