Penny B of St. Peters, MO was finishing her basement when a heavy downpour caused water to leak in and she had to put the renovations on hold. She spent hours cleaning up and trying to dry the basement with a store bought dehumidifier. This incident made her worry about the potential for future leaks and the damage it could cause after she finished the basement, so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
As part of that system, Woods installed WaterGuard under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is situated away from the mud so that it can collect unwanted water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it to the sump pump for removal.
Justin H. was getting water into the finished basement of his Saint Peters, MO home with every heavy rain. The wood frames behind his finished walls were rotting and downpours in the forecast meant hours of clean up so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.
As part of that waterproofing system, Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. Other drainage systems are notorious for clogging with mud because they are either installed along the concrete footing or on the exterior of the foundation. WaterGuard sits on top of the footing so it is out of the way of mud as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement and drains it to the sump pump for removal.
Mike E was concerned about the sinking floors in his basement. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy R was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jose L installed a Push Pier, shown above, in Mike’s basement. The Push Pier will be driven into a stable level of soil. The device will support the section of the house that is sinking, and work to raise it back to its original level.
James S. of St. Peters, Missouri noticed that water was seeping up from his home's basement floor. He already had a working sump pump, so he knew that wasn't the problem. He did not want to ignore the problem, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Cody M. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the project started.
The Waterguard drainage system was placed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. It then drains the water to the sump pump.
James S. no longer has to worry about water coming up from the ground and flooding his home's basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.
Molly K. of St. Peters, Missouri discovered that her home's basement was collecting water. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain storm, so she contacted Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Michael T. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to install a TripleSafe sump pump, a CleanSpace wall system, and a WaterGuard drainage system. Foreman Melvin F. then headed to the home to get the job started. The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It collects and drains any water rising from the floor before it reaches the surface of the basement.
Molly K. no longer has to worry about her home's basement flooding. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
