Vicki H. of Chesterfield, Missouri was troubled with water leaking into her basement. Her old pump failed. Because it was open, it created a musty smell in her basement. System design specialist Rob C. designed a solution.
Foreman Juan H. installed TripleSafe. TripleSafe is a sump pump system equipped with a main pump, back up pump and battery-powered pump. It is sealed to prevent water from leaking into the basement. Vicki is pleased to know her basement will stay dry all the time.
External soil pressure can cause damage to walls and cause them to fail. Gary F.’s retaining wall behind his Chesterfield, MO home was bowing inward and cracked. He was worried that it might collapse and he’d not only have to replace the wall but the deck it was supporting so he called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract soil pressure by connecting steel wall plates to earth anchors embedded in the yard using galvanized steel anchor rods which stabilizes the wall. Woods also straightened the wall immediately by excavating behind the wall and tightening the anchors. Wall plate covers as shown in the picture can also be included to make wall plates more aesthetically pleasing.
Lisa N was concerned when she noticed large cracks in her basement walls, so she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jeremy R installed PowerBraces, as shown above, along with piers to stablize the sinking garage. The walls and the garage are now stable.
Karyn K. of Chesterfield, MO was facing the issue of her concrete cracking and settling unevenly. She called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate about resolving the problem.
Systems Design Specialist Jacob K. determined that PolyLevel foam injection would be the appropriate solution. Foreman Andrew T. installed PolyLevel, which goes directly into the concrete in 4 simple steps and works to lift the concrete back to its original position.
Since the installation of PolyLevel, Karyn no longer has to be concerned about future issues her home could face with the cracks or dangers such as tripping.
John G. of Chesterfield, Missouri noticed that, even though he already had a working sump pump, water was collecting in his basement. He did not want to have to clean up a mess after every heavy rain storm, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Jake S. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a Waterguard drainage system and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier. Foreman Mason S. then headed to the home to install these products.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement and was then covered with concrete. It accepts water from the soil before it reaches the surface of the basement floor. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.
John G. no longer has to worry about a flooded basement. He now has a dry and waterproof home.
