System Design Specialist Scott R. knew that the EverLast Crawl Space Door not only looks great and is preventative against rotting or rusting, but it also keeps the area closed off and secure from any outside moisture. Colin R. of Bonne Terre, Missouri noticed that the walls in his home's basement were cracking and bowing. He did not want the problem to continue to get worse or cause a safety hazard, so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Brian H. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a few PowerBraces and Wall Anchors. Foreman Jeremy R. then traveled to the home to start the job. Wall anchors, pictured above, are made of steel and extend from the inside walls of the basement to the hard packed soil outside. They help stabilize and prevent further movement of the walls.

Colin R. no longer has to worry about his home's walls bowing and cracking. He now has safe and stable basement walls.

Joe and Jill, homeowners in Bonne Terre, Missouri, were experiencing a very humid basement that was developing a smell. Foreman Kevin J. and his crew installed CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls and WaterGuard around the perimeter. The CleanSpace used on the walls will collect any water vapor that makes it through the porous walls. Instead of evaporating into the basement, it will now be caught and redirected to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard will collect the water and take it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
