A basement in Saint Charles, MO, was leaking during heavy and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold arise. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system won't get clogged, due to its horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. Foreman John and his crew installed the WaterGuard for Tom. The WaterGuard is specially designed to collect water that gets in through gaps in construction. This water comes in through the perimeter of the foundation. This means that water can sit on the drywall in these areas and cause it to mold and rot.
By doing a half-wall restoration and using EverLast Walls we can make the air healthier by removing the mold and rot. EverLast Walls will not support future mold and rot and are designed to be easy to clean and be resistant to damage.
