A basement in Saint Charles, MO, was leaking during heavy and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold arise. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system won't get clogged, due to its horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. The sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. Then, IceGuard™ was used to ensure the pipes do not get blocked by ice or snow. Finally, a drainage line was used to carry the water away from the home. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement is in great shape!
A basement in Saint Charles, MO had water seeping through the walls. The homeowner reached out to Woods and we had a solution. Our WaterGuard™ System runs along the interior perimeter and collects water seepage. From there, it directs the water to the nearby sump pump. Our TripleSafe™ Sump Pump is equipped with top-of-the-line elements to ensure that no amount of water is too much to remove. With these in place, the homeowner can expect a healthy and dry basement for years to come!
To repair concrete that is uneven, like the walkway shown in these images, our team injects a polyurethane foam underneath the concrete slabs that expands on top of the soil underneath and lifts the concrete to a level state. Next, a sealant is placed between the concrete joints which works to help prevent your concrete from, water causing soil erosion, cracking and sinking for years to come. Our process involves the concrete being ready to use within 15-30 minutes after installation, for a long lasting, and safe solution to concrete repair.
Saint Charles, Missouri homeowner Tom had worked with Woods Basement Systems before for a sump pump. He gave us a call back when he wanted to extend his waterproofing needs and System Design Specialist Todd developed a plan for him.
Foreman John and his crew installed the WaterGuard for Tom. The WaterGuard is specially designed to collect water that gets in through gaps in construction. This water comes in through the perimeter of the foundation. This means that water can sit on the drywall in these areas and cause it to mold and rot.
By doing a half-wall restoration and using EverLast Walls we can make the air healthier by removing the mold and rot. EverLast Walls will not support future mold and rot and are designed to be easy to clean and be resistant to damage.
Tom can now enjoy his basement knowing it is not only dry but it is also healthier.
