This Imperial, Missouri basement remained unfinished and was primarily used for storage until Spring 2020.  The homeowners worked with our Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist, Frank Unger, to layout an all-new floorplan for the basement.  And that's when the transformation began.

These homeowners had already put down their own flooring, but wanted to have the walls done as well. Our specialist knew wood studs, fiberglass insulation, and drywall can spell disaster in the event of a leak or high humidity. So, Woods Basement Systems framed the basement with metal studs and finished the walls with the inorganic EverLast Basement Wall Panels, made from 2 1/2-inch thick rigid foam insulation with 1/2-inch thick cement board cladding. The cement board is finished with an off-white vinyl surface treatment.

What was once a cold, bare, and dark unfinished basement used only for storage is now a beautifully-finished, warm, and bright basement playroom and sewing room.  What a transformation!

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Imperial, MO, creating a damp environment and a musty smell. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. This crawlspace will now remain clean and dry for years to come!

A crawlspace in Imperial, MO was not insulated properly, and moisture was entering it, causing problems. To solve these issues, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This homeowner's driveway had uneven and sinking concrete slabs, causing cracks to form. This will only get worse with time if not fixed, will only get worse. To remedy this, the PolyLevel system was injected underneath the concrete through pea-sized holes. This supports the concrete slabs underneath, and slowly fixes cracks over time. This will prevent more cracks from forming, and makes this driveway no longer a tripping hazard to walk on.

An elevated screened-in patio that is part of a room extension was sagging and shifting due to the failing support post. To solve this issue, the SmartJack System was installed. This will stabilize the patio from below, lift it back up to its original position, and keep it in place. This system will not bend or corrode, keeping the porch stable and restoring peace of mind for years to come!
