Imperial, Missouri homeowner Regina noticed her basement walls changing. She gave Woods Basement Systems a call and System Design Specialist Nolan developed a plan for her. 

Foreman Greg and his crew installed the PowerBrace System for Regina. The PowerBraces are steel I-Beams that are installed by anchoring in the floor and on the Rim Joist. By doing this they can give the wall the extra support it needs to remain straight. 

Regina can now use her basement without worry!

David H. of Imperial, Missouri needed some preventative waterproofing work done to his basement, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Adam R. recommended installing a Twin Pack sump pump and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Melvin F. installed the products. The Twin Pack sump pump has two stainless steel pumps that work to help protect your home against leaks and floods. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of a basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then takes that water and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home. 

Now David H. has a safe, dry basement. 

This Imperial, Missouri basement remained unfinished and was primarily used for storage until Spring 2020.  The homeowners worked with our Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist, Frank Unger, to layout an all-new floorplan for the basement.  And that's when the transformation began.

These homeowners had already put down their own flooring, but wanted to have the walls done as well. Our specialist knew wood studs, fiberglass insulation, and drywall can spell disaster in the event of a leak or high humidity. So, Woods Basement Systems framed the basement with metal studs and finished the walls with the inorganic EverLast Basement Wall Panels, made from 2 1/2-inch thick rigid foam insulation with 1/2-inch thick cement board cladding. The cement board is finished with an off-white vinyl surface treatment.

What was once a cold, bare, and dark unfinished basement used only for storage is now a beautifully-finished, warm, and bright basement playroom and sewing room.  What a transformation!

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Imperial, MO, creating a damp environment and a musty smell. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. This crawlspace will now remain clean and dry for years to come!

A crawlspace in Imperial, MO was not insulated properly, and moisture was entering it, causing problems. To solve these issues, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain warm and dry for years to come!
