To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system won't get clogged, due to its horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. To correct uneven concrete, such as the entrance area shown in these images, our team uses a polyurethane foam injection process. This method involves injecting high-density foam beneath the affected concrete slabs, where it expands and fills voids in the underlying soil, lifting and leveling the concrete with precision. Once the concrete is properly aligned, a specialized joint sealant is applied to help prevent water intrusion, soil erosion, and cracking. This efficient repair process allows the concrete to be ready for use within 15 to 30 minutes after installation, providing a durable, long-lasting, and safe solution for concrete leveling and stabilization.
