Columbia, Illinois homeowner Kendall experienced a damp and musty basement so he gave Woods Basement Systems a call. System Design Specialist Phillip H. developed a plan to correct the problems and prevent future problems.
Foreman John C. and his crew installed the system, inclusing the WaterGuard, Cut Finish walls, and a TripleSafe sump pump.
The TripleSafe sump pump is our surest way to a dry basement. Beginning with a Zoeller 1/3 hp pump as the primary, the sump pump then has a secondary Zoeller 1/2 hp pump. The pumps are connected to different circuits and different discharge lines, the secondary pump will only kick on when the primary pump is overwhelmed. The Triple in TripleSafe is because of our battery operated UltraSump, this pump will kick on in case of emergency or power outage.
Kendall now has a dry and healthy basement, and with yearly maintenance included he will not have worries for years to come.

This homeowner's basement in Columbia, IL had a history of leakage and lots of water damage, so the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system was installed along the foundation to collect leaking water from the walls. It is then drained to the sump pump, keeping the basement dry.
This homeowner's crawlspace in Columbia, IL, was open to outside air, causing it to be dirty and moldy. If left unfixed, this could have negative effects on the air quality and circulation in the house, as well as possible critter infestations. The CleanSpace encapsulation system was installed, which uses a liner to keep the crawlspace moisture-free and eliminate mold. This will help reduce the amount of energy necessary to heat or cool the house, keep critters out, and make the air in the house cleaner.
