Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked foundation walls by connecting wall plates on the interior to earth anchors buried in stable soil conditions in the yard using galvanized steel anchor rods. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the unstable soil conditions to permanently stabilize foundation walls and prevent future damage.

Donna M. of Godfrey, IL had stair step and horizontal cracks that spanned her foundation walls. The cracks would leak during rainy weather which made messes that were a hassle to clean up. Woods installed the Geo-Lock Wall Anchors along the cracked foundation walls. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the external pressure from unstable soil conditions that cause damage like Donna was seeing in her home. To do this, galvanized steel anchor rods are driven through the walls and connected to earth anchors that have been embedded in stable soil conditions in the yard. The rods are attached to wall plates on the inside of the wall, which can be seen in the picture, and tightened. They permanently stabilize the walls in place and prevent any further damage.

Jeremy G. of Godfrey, Illinois had water leaking in through cracks in the foundation walls, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Luke K. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard.

Foreman, Greg H. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump uses a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a backup battery-powered pump to fully protect your home at all times, so there is no worry of it not working properly. The WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it collects water that seeps through basement walls and guides it to the sump pump. This allows for it to be pumped out and away from the home.

Before this Godfrey, Illinois basement was unprotected from water damage. Water would leak in during heavy rains and threaten the well-being of the home.
