Moisture was entering a crawlspace in East Saint Louis, IL, causing several issues. The environment was becoming damp, a musty smell was spreading into the house, and mold was beginning to grow. Frances K. of Millstadt, IL had a very wet crawl space. Even though she had a plastic liner in the crawl space, it was flimsy and not secured in any way so it bunched up did nothing to stop moisture from getting into the crawlspace so France K called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended encapsulating the crawl space.

Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and floors of the basement. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that is secured in place over the foundation walls and dirt floors in the crawl space. It prevents moisture from entering the crawlspace and guides it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. CleanSpace is mold resistant and gives the crawl space a cleaner and brighter appearance.
