Foreman Josh B. and his team installed WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to a sump pump and away from the home. Wendi no longer has to worry about a wet, musty basement.

Frances K. of Millstadt, IL had a very wet crawl space. Even though she had a plastic liner in the crawl space, it was flimsy and not secured in any way so it bunched up did nothing to stop moisture from getting into the crawlspace so France K called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended encapsulating the crawl space.

Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls and floors of the basement. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier that is secured in place over the foundation walls and dirt floors in the crawl space. It prevents moisture from entering the crawlspace and guides it down to the perimeter drainage system for removal. CleanSpace is mold resistant and gives the crawl space a cleaner and brighter appearance.

This homeowner was looking to make her crawlspace as clean, dry, and energy-efficient as possible. System Design Specialist Barry C. inspected the crawlspace and recommended a long-lasting solution for her waterproofing concerns.

Over time, pressure coming from the soil around the foundation often leads to cracks. This is especially true with concrete-block foundation walls. Because the wall is made of individual pieces rather than one solid slab, cracks form at the joints between blocks. These cracks often lead to water leaks and put the home at risk for total wall collapse. This was the case for this Millstadt, Illinois home, and the owner called Woods Basement Systems for help. A Woods team installed several GeoLock wall supports along the cracking walls, connecting steel plates to heavy anchors buried deep in the firm soil away from the foundation to support the wall and effectively pull it outward over time. 

A basement wall was shifting in Millstadt, IL, so GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place.
