To solve this issue, PolyLevel™ was used to level out the concrete. This system works by drilling pea-sized holes into the concrete and injecting a polyurethane foam underneath. The foam then expands to lift and level the concrete slabs. Next, NexusPro™ was used to seal the seams. This flexible sealant will withstand any harsh weather the homeowner may receive. This Alton, IL home was experiencing bowing in the concrete wall supporting its driveway. After a specialized consultation with Woods, our team determined that a wall anchor system would provide the best solution. The system works by installing a galvanized steel anchor deep underground, away from the wall, which connects to a steel rod running through the soil to the foundation wall. A plate is then secured to the interior of the wall, anchoring the rod in place. This method stabilizes the foundation, quickly addressing the wall failure while providing long-lasting, reliable results.
