Gerald M was concerned when he noticed that his walls were beginning to bow, and his floors were sinking. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jeremy K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jose L installed a Push Pier in Gerald’s basement. The Push Pier will be driven into a stable level of soil. The device will support the sinking portion and attempt to raise the level back towards its original position overtime.
Donald K knew that he needed to get his foundation looked at when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. He decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Jacob K was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Donald’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will be anchored to a level of stable soil away from the house, while the other is attached to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten the walls.
Jeanne F. of Fairview Heights, Illinois noticed that her home's basement was collecting water. She did not want to have to clean up a mess after every rain storm, so she called Woods Basement for help.
Design specialist Michael T. assessed the situation and decided the best option was to install a WaterGuard drainage system and a TripleSafe sump pump. Foreman Melvin F. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The WaterGuard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After installation, it was covered with concrete. The WaterGuard collects and drains any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement.
Jeanne F. no longer has to worry about water entering her home and flooding her basement. She now has a dry and waterproof home.
Bryan N. of Fairview Heights, Illinois was shocked when he discovered his home's crawl space was collecting water. He knew that standing water could cause problems such as rotting or mold growth, so he called Woods Basement Systems for help.
Design specialist Thomas W. assessed the situation and decided that the best option was to install a CleanSpace encapsulation system and a SaniDry CX dehumidifier. Foreman Joshua B. then headed to the home to start the job. The CleanSpace encapsulation system, pictured above, is a durable liner is placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that occur behind it.
Bryan N. no longer has to worry about water entering his home's crawl space. He now has a waterproof and dry crawl space.
Laura, a homeowner in Fairview Heights, IL, noticed sagging floors in the living area above her crawl space. She called Woods Basement Systems and System Design Specialist Luke B. developed a plan for her.
Foreman Juan H. and his crew installed CleanSpace in her crawl space. CleanSpace isolates the crawl space from the dirt and air reducing moisture, allergens, and critters in the crawl space. Lower moisture and allergens in the crawl space cleans the air in the living space and reduces rot in the wood. CleanSpace also makes the area usable for storage.
Laura can breath easy knowing her air is cleaner and her floors will not continue to rot.
