Water was entering a home through a door in New Athens, IL. To solve this issue, a TrenchDrain was installed in front of the door on the outside of the house. This will catch water before it can go through the doorway, and drain it away. This will restore peace of mind right away!
A basement foundation was cracking in New Athens, IL, and water was leaking out of them. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was first installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further movement. This will also reverse the effects of wall failure, straightening the walls to their original position and closing the cracks to prevent water leakage. Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
A basement wall was cracking in New Athens, IL, causing concern. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!
A basement in New Athens, Illinois, was having some water seepage issues. There was already a sump pump in place, but it wasn't enough to keep all the water out of this basement. To fix this issue, Woods came in and installed the WaterGuard System. This system collects water and directs it to the sump pump nearby. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. Thanks to this install, water will be able to get to the sump pump to be removed, resulting in a dry basement for years to come!
PowerBraces resecured this cracked basement by securing the walls into place. These beams are tightened into the floors and ceiling to give the wall strength to secure it into place.
