This homeowner in Shiloh, IL had a wet crawlspace that needed a solution that would collect and expel the entering water. Woods Basement Systems installed the SmartSump™ crawlspace sump pump in the existing barrier in the crawlspace, which will help keep the crawlspace dry.

Carol L., O'Fallon, Illinois homeowner, was troubled by her musty, moldy basement. The mold was a health hazard. System design specialist Brandon B. designed a solution to restore the crawl space.

Foreman Josh B. installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier so it does not support mold growth as it prevents water from entering the crawl space. To further prevent mold growth, SaniDry was installed. SaniDry is an energy efficient dehumidifier.

Michelle O. of O’Fallon, IL had a moisture and humidity problem in her crawl space. High humidity and repeated water intrusion was rotting her wooden floor joists and rusting the metal pipes that ran through her crawl space. The flimsy plastic liner she had in the space bunched and did nothing to prevent moisture from getting into the crawl space so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods installed CleanSpace over the foundation walls, columns and floors of the crawlspace. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick, durable plastic moisture barrier. It prevents moisture from entering the crawl space to keep it dry and usable. It’s mold resistant and maximizes available light within the crawlspace due to its bright white color.

Foreman Jose L installed a SmartJack, shown above, underneath Judy’s home. The SmartJack will support the portion of the house that is sinking, and raise it back to its proper level overtime.
