Often times, homes built above crawl spaces experience some level of floor sagging. Usually, this is the result of moisture present in the crawl space damaging and rotting floor joists. These work by attaching an anchor buried deep in the firm soil away from the foundation to a steel plate on the interior surface of the basement wall, effectively pulling the wall outward and preventing any further damage.
