Woods Basement Systems was called out to this Highland, Illinois basement to help with water leak issues. The basement was plagued with leaks during extended periods of rain, and the homeowner was tired of the cleanup. In order to waterproof the space, a Woods team installed WaterGuard drains underneath the flooring at the base of the leaking walls to catch any water and prevent it from making its way into the space.  

These basement walls were moving and had developed cracks within the foundation. Over time this troubled wall had only worsened with time. To address the walls, Team Woods installed Geo-Lock wall anchors into the walls to reinforce and stabilize them.

Though she had a sump pump, it failed to keep the basement dry. Nate C., System Design Specialist, visited Marie's home, and Upon inspection, Nate discovered that the foundation of Carole's home was settling. He designed a solution to support the foundation and keep the basement dry.

Foreman Brad P. and his crew waterproofed the basement by installing WaterGuard, a perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard collects and guides water to the TripleSafe sump pump system. A new basement window was also installed to keep outdoor elements out. To support the foundation, PowerBrace was installed.

A concrete patio was settling in Highland, IL, causing the slabs to crack, sink, and become uneven. To solve these issues, the PolyLevel system was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. NexusPro Joint Sealant was also used to seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. This will provide long-lasting flexibility and will stand up to harsh weather conditions. This will restore peace of mind for years to come!
