Ted and Barbara P. from Ballwin, MO called Woods Basement Systems for a solution to their wet and damp basement. We installed our TripleSafe sump pump which is the most reliable sump pump system. John T was concerned when he noticed that his basement walls were beginning to bow. So, he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Brandon B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor in John’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement wall. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls. 

This Murphysboro, Illinois basement was constantly inundated with leaks during periods of rain. The constant moisture made it difficult to make effective use of the space, and the homeowner was fed up. A Woods Basement Systems team installed under-floor WaterGuard drains at the base of the leaking walls to catch any and all water before it's able to make it onto the floor. They also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier over the wall to seal out moisture and prevent mold growth. 

Homeowner Gretchen D. of Murphysboro, Illinois was in the midst of renovating her home when she noticed signs of foundation settlement. Her contractor recommended she call Woods Basement Systems and see if one of their specialists could come to take a look at it. Our System Design Specialist came out to the home and proposed to install two of our patented foundation solutions to solve her problem, GeoLock, and PowerBrace. This combination would keep her home stable for years to come.

Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Murphysboro, IL, causing mold to grow. The insulation was also failing. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. Additionally, SilverGlo Insulation Panels were installed. This features a radiant barrier that is infused with graphite, which will reflect heat back into the crawlspace and save energy overall.
