Foreman Jeremy R. and his team installed Geo-Lock wall anchors to stabilize and potentially straighten the walls. Geo-Lock uses a galvanized steel rod that anchors into dense, packed soil and connects to heavy duty plates for reliable, long-lasting support.

Du Quoin, IL homeowner John noticed horizontal and stair step cracks around the entire perimeter of his basement walls. This concerned him becasue the area was used by his family in a variety of ways. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call. System Design Specialist Brenton K. developed a plan to fix the walls. 

Foreman Jeremy R. and his crew installed Geo-Lock Wall Anchors on each wall to pull the walls back to straight. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors are made of steel so they will not rust. The rods are anchored to steel plates behind the active soil surrounding the house. The rods provide resistance and over time can be tightened to bring the wall back to its original position. 

John L. now has piece of mind that his walls will not bow anymore and the area will be drier. 

Water was leaking by a basement door in Du Quoin, IL, and causing mold to grow.
