To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system won't get clogged due to its horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. Finally, a Sedona™ dehumidifier was used to lower the humidity in the basement. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry, even during heavy rain.
