Before this crawl space was dirty and had insulation that was falling. With the help of Team Woods, this crawl space was clean and sealed with a CleanSpace vapor barrier. This inorganic barrier will keep out harmful outer elements that damage the crawl space. 

CleanSpace reduced the amount of humidity that was in this crawl space and kept it looking clean and brand new.  CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, that is fitted into a crawl space to completely seal a home from the dirt floor below.  It is puncture and tear resistance, and is incredible durable.  It also includes an antimicrobial additive called "UltraFresh" manufactured into the material to prevent mold growth.  The liner is sealed around obstructions such as the Crawl Space support we see in the picture here.  The crawl space is now a clean dry space ready to be used for storage!

This dirty, wet crawl space was cleaned up and waterproofed with Woods' CleanSpace vapor barrier. First our crews remove any standing water, repair any damaged structures, and install new insulation. Then our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed to keep out any moisture, mold, critters, and other allergens. This product transforms any crawl space into a dry, clean, energy-efficient part of the house.

Woodlawn, IL residents Warren and Joyce were interested in waterproofing their basement because the water was leaking into it when it rained. System Design Specialist Jake M. was able to help! By installing a WaterGuard, groundwater and leaks could be stopped at the floor and wall joint. Underneath Production Manager Frankie D., Foreman Robert D. and his crew installed this clog-proof system. In these photos, you can see how the WaterGuard leads directly to the sump pump, allowing water to be pumped out of the basement. Once it is laid properly, it is covered up with concrete, allowing it to blend back in with the rest of the floor. Now Warren and Joyce can have peace of mind that their basement is dry and safe!

A basement wall was leaking in Woodlawn, IL, so the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
