A basement in Buncombe, IL, was leaking and has issues surrounding high humidity. The owner decided to give Woods a call before concerns of mold appeared. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the basement. This durable liner will keep the humidity, and other outside elements, out of the basement. Next, a sump pump with a battery back-up generator was installed to discharge any water out of the area, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the owner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry. 

Debra R. of Herrin, Illinois discovered that water was entering her home's basement. She did not want to have to worry about cleaning up a mess every time it stormed, so she called Woods Basement Systems for assistance.

Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and formulated the perfect solution. Foreman Juan H. then traveled to the home to install a CleanSpace wall system and a Waterguard drainage system. The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. It collects any water that is coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. It then drains the water to the sump pump. 

Debra R. is very happy that she no longer has to worry about her home's basement holding water after heavy rain showers. She now has a waterproof and dry basement.

Nate of Herrin, Illinois knew that he needed to fix his crawl space stability since when he first noticed structural damage, he tried to fix the problem himself with cement blocks. After given the recommendation of SmartJacks, Team Woods went straight to work installing the new SmartJacks.
