Water was entering a basement in Augusta, MO, causing concern. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. This perimeter drainage system will catch any water that comes down the walls and direct it to the sump pump to be pumped out of the house. This basement will now stay dry and clean for years to come!
A basement was leaking in Augusta, MO, causing distress for the homeowners. To solve this issue, a CleanSpace™ liner was used. This highly durable sheet will keep the humidity out, as well as brighten up the space. With this system in place, the homeowners can be rest assured that their basement will stay dry.
Rhonda H. of Richwoods, MO was concerned about her wet crawl space. The high moisture levels caused mold and caused the wooden floor support to rot. A System Design Specialist visited her home and inspected the crawl space to design a solution.
Foreman Juan H. and his team installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier so it does not support mold growth. With CleanSpace, Rhonda no longer has to worry about her crawl space. It stays dry all the time.
Pressure from soil can cause damage to foundation walls over time and cause them to tilt, bow and crack. In Rose Ann H.’s case, the garage of her Moscow Mill, MO home was partially underground. The earth on the outside of the wall shown in the before picture had put pressure on it and caused it to tilt in at the top and form cracks on the ceiling of her garage so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.
Geo-Lock Wall Anchors counteract the soil pressure by embedding earth anchors in more stable soil in the yard and connecting them to steel wall plates in the inside of the walls shown in the after picture, using steel anchor rods. The anchor rods are tightened to permanently stabilize the walls and prevent future tilting and damage. The anchor rods can also be tightened during dry weather conditions for the opportunity to straighten the wall.
Donna B was concerned when she noticed that her basement walls were beginning to bow. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Brandon B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Bradly P installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Donna’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to stable soil away from the house the other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and overtime will straighten the walls.
