Team Woods installed a CleanSpace liner to keep the crawlspace safe from water damage and make it more energy-efficient. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that traps out moisture as well as potentially harmful microbial growth.

Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to fully waterproof the crawl space and install a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a SmartPipe drainage system, a SmartSump sump pump, a SaniDry CX, and a EverLast door. Foreman James L. then headed to the home to get the job started.

The CleanSpace encapsulation system is a durable liner that is placed on the floor and up the walls of the crawl space. It also is wrapped around the piers in the crawl space. The CleanSpace acts as a vapor barrier and drains any leaks that may occur behind it.
