Encapsulating a Damp Crawlspace in Flora, IL

A crawlspace liner was failing in Flora, IL, as moisture was still seeping into it and causing mold to grow. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will isolate the crawlspace from the ground. It also controls water, humidity, outside air infiltration, and heat loss. The white finish will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside. This crawlspace will remain dry all year round!

Repairing a Sinking and Cracked Sidewalk in Flora, IL

A sidewalk was sinking in Flora, IL, causing cracks to appear. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was first installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. Additionally, NexusPro Joint Sealant was installed. This will seal the joints and cracks in the concrete. It will provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. These systems will improve the safety of the driveway and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Leaky Basement Waterproofed in Flora, IL

A basement in Flora, IL, was humid and leaking during heavy rain. This needed to be addressed, so the homeowner decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the wall and prevent the humidity from getting in. This durable liner not only makes the basement look nicer, it also keeps other outside elements, such as rot, out as well. Next, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that enters the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system doesn't clog, due to it's horizontal design. Finally, a sump pump was used to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump has a battery back-up generator to ensure it keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can have peace of mind knowing their basement will remain dry during heavy rain.

Geo-Lock Wall Anchors installed in Monticello, IL

Melanie R. of Monticello, IL had foundation walls that had become severely damaged over the years. There were large cracks on the foundation walls and ledge walls along them which made Melanie worried about the safety of her home so she called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended installing Geo-Lock Wall Anchors.

Woods drove galvanized steel anchor rods through the cracked ledge walls and connected them to steel earth anchors that were embedded in stable soil conditions in the yard. They attached the anchor rods to steel anchor plates on the inside of the wall to hold the walls firmly in place. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors permanently stabilize walls in place, preventing future damage.
