Alice C was concerned about the bowing walls in her basement. So, she decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Paul W was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jeremy R installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor, shown above, in Alice’s basement. The Wall Anchor has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other end will attach to the basement walls. The device can be tightened and will straighten the walls over time.
Wentzville, Missouri homeowner Jim needed his basement waterproofed. He gave Woods Basement Systems a call and Team Woods developed a plan for him.
Foreman Greg H. and his crew installed TripleSafe, IceGuard, and WaterGuard. TripleSafe combines three pumps to make sure that the basement is always dry. The WaterGuard will send the water to the TripleSafe to be sent outside. The IceGuard will protect the basement from flooding when there is a clogged or frozen pipe.
Jim now has a clean and dry basement that he can use.
Before, this Wentzville, Missouri basement suffered from water leaks that were not able to be pumped out because the old sump pump was not dependable. Now, a TripleSafe sump pump has been installed to continuously run with two backup pumps if the primary pump ever fails.
Years of water leaks would accumulate in this Wentzville, MO basement leading to water damage. Woods installed WaterGuard into the perimeter of the basement to collect all water that would leak in and discard of it. This drain system now keeps the home dry and safe from any further damage.
Severe cracking in the exterior brickwork of a home is often a telltale sign of foundation settlement, and the longer the problem goes unsolved, the worse that cracking will get; this was the case in this Wentzville, Missouri home. The homeowner had noticed cracking for several years, and was finally ready to tackle the issue. A Woods Basement Systems team installed several Push Piers, galvanized steel beams, underneath the foundation that were then adjusted to lift it back to level and support it for the life of the structure.
