The corner of a basement in Urbana, IL was leaking water, causing damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes.

A basement wall was failing in Urgana, as it was shifting and causing cracks to form. To solve this issue, GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good!

Water was entering a crawlspace in Urbana, IL, and the sump system failed to remove this water properly. To solve these issues, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was first installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth and reduce the humidity level. Any mold growth will also be eliminated, making the whole house healthier. The white color will also brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside it. Next, a SmartSump was installed. This system is just the right size to fit in the crawlspace and still can collect plenty of water from the home and sudden groundwater problems beneath the liner. Urbana, Illinois homeowners John and Karan I. were troubled by their musty, moldy crawl space. Water leaked into their crawl space through the block foundation walls, and caused mold to overtake the area. System design specialist Greg B. designed a solution to restore their crawl space.

Foreman James L. installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier, so it does not support mold growth. CleanSpace encapulates the crawl space to ensure water stays out. SaniDry, an energy-efficient dehumidifier, was also installed. Keeping the humidity low keeps the mold away. 

John and Karan are pleased with their restored crawl space. They are at ease knowing their crawl space will stay dry and free of mold.
