Philo, Illinois homeowner Janice E. was troubled by mold taking over her crawl space. The mold was a result of water seepage and high humidity levels. Though she attempted to dry up the crawl space with fans, she was unsuccessful. System design specialist Greg B. designed a solution to keep the mold at bay.
As part of the solution, Foreman James L. installed SaniDry. SaniDry is an energy efficient dehumidifier. SaniDry was installed in combination with the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. SaniDry keeps the humidity levels low without hiking energy costs.
With this system, Janice no longer has to worry about allergens like mold and dust mites lurking in her crawl space and home.
JC was concerned about the walls bowing in the basement. So, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. System Design Specialist Gregory B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.
Foreman Jeremy R Installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System, shown above, in JC’s basement. The device has two ends, one will attach to a stable level of soil away from the house. The other will attach to the basement walls, shown above. The device can be tightened and over time will straighten out the walls.
Homeowners Jim and Robin F. of Grayville, Illinois needed a solution for their damp, dirty crawl space. Over the years, the space had become a mess, sending unwanted smells into their home above. After consulting a neighbor, they made a call to Woods Basement Systems. Foreman Jesse C. and his team were able to encapsulate the crawl space using our CleanSpace liner. This transformed the crawl space into a dry, bright usable area beneath their home.
Carol E. of Villa Grove, IL had a failing sump pump in her basement. She had originally had the pump installed because of flooding issues in her basement. The old pump was not pumping water out of the basement quickly enough.
Woods Basement Systems installed a new sump pump to quickly. Carol had a TripleSafe pump installed to ensure the pump would work efficiently in almost all conditions. A TripleSafe pump has two pumps that work to evacuate the water from the basement and a battery back up to power the pump in case of a power outage.
Water was leaking in a basement in Villa Grove, IL, causing concern. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. This basement will now remain dry all the time!
