Wayne P. of Paris, Illinois noticed that water was collecting his home's basement every time there was a big storm. He did not want to have to keep worrying about a mess, so he called Woods Basement Systems.
Design specialist Brenton K. assessed the problem and decided the best option was to install a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Ryan L. then traveled to the home to get the job started.
The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was installed above the footing of the basement. It collects any water coming up from the ground before it reaches the surface of the basement. The water is then drained to the sump pump.
Wayne P. no longer has to worry about water entering his home's basement. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
A basement in Paris, IL was having some water issues, and it needed to be insulated. To solve these issues, Woods first installed the WaterGuard Perimeter Drainage System. These pipes intercept water at the wall and floor joint of the basement and drain it towards the TripleSafe Sump System, which was also installed to pump the water away from the house. This advanced sump pump system will remain working even if there is no power to the house, thanks to the UltraSump battery backup pumping system. Next, the SaniDry XP Basement Dehumidifier was installed to keep the air dry and clean. This will also reduce the risk of mold growth, and it is ten times more powerful than traditional dehumidifiers. Lastly, SilverGlo wall insulation was installed. This insulation system features a radiant barrier with graphite infused in it that reflects heat back into the basement to save energy.
Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Paris, IL, and the support beams were failing. To solve these issues, the CleanSapce Encapsulation System was first installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth and reduce the humidity level. Any mold growth will also be eliminated, making the whole house healthier. The white color will also brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside it.
Next, the SmartJack System was installed. These steel support systems can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in the crawlspace. These add strength and stability to the existing columns and piers. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. These will lift the floors above back toward their original position, reduce floor “bounce” caused by excessive joist spans, and solve the problem once and for all Thanks to these systems, this crawlspace will remain dry and stable for years to come!
Homeowner, Kristofer M., from West Union, Illinois knew it was past time for him to waterproof his basement, and with the help of Team Woods, this process was quick and painless. Team Woods installed a WaterGuard drainage system into the footing of the basement with a TwinPack sump pump to pump water back outside and keep water out of the basement.
Moisture was entering a crawlspace in Catlin, IL allowing mold to grow and create a musty smell. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will separate the crawlspace from the earth and will reduce the humidity level. Any mold growth will also be eliminated, making the whole house healthier. Lastly, the white color will brighten the crawlspace and make it easier to see inside it. This crawlspace will now remain clean and dry for years to come!
