Homeowner was experiencing smells in their home and called us to check out their crawl space.
Water had been getting in for years and at different times of the year causing those smell to come up and into their home.
We installed a sump pump, CleanSPACE™ liner, and air sealed the rim joist with foam insulation. Now air from beneath the crawl space can not get up and into the home.
These homeowners wanted to protect their crawlspace from the elements. They met with System Design Specialist Kris H. from Woods Basement Systems, who designed a custom-tailored solution to solve their waterproofing problems.
Team Woods installed a CleanSpace liner to keep the crawlspace safe from water damage and make it more energy-efficient. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that traps out moisture as well as potentially harmful microbial growth.
Curtis P. of Greenville, Illinois had water leaking into his basement, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Bill C. recommended installing WaterGuard and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.
Foreman, Michael J. installed the products. WaterGuard is a waterproofing system that is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump in order for it to be removed from the home. Sanidry Sedona is a dehumidifier that works to keep all moisture out of the air to prevent water damage from vapor that may come through the walls. Additionally, the customer had EverLast walls installed to make them more appealing to the eye.
Now Curtis P. has a dry basement.
In Maryville, Illinois Kathy C. was looking for a solution to finish her basement. Because of previous water damage, the bottom half of her basement walls had been removed. Kathy was looking for an inexpensive solution to finish her basement without replacing her walls completely. She called Woods Basement Systems to find a solution to her problem.
Foreman John Cunningham installed EverLast Half Wall Panels to Kathy's basement walls. EverLast Wall Panels are prefinished and never need to be painted or repainted. Instantly improving the look of Kathy's basement, giving her the finished look she had before.
William J. from Eureka, Missouri was looking for a way to clean and brighten up his crawlspace. Crawlspaces like the one in William's home are exposed to the earth, which means they are exposed to mold, fungus, rot, and critters. A home with a dirt crawlspace costs more energy to heat and cool, and more energy costs more money.
Concerned, William decided to call Woods Basement Systems to fix his crawlspace problem. Foreman Micheal Rebenstorff installed a CleanSpace Liner to the floors and walls of William's crawlspace. The CleanSpace Liner has an antimicrobial additive manufactured to the material, which prevents mold growth on the liner. Williams crawlspace is now sealed from the earth, making his home easier to cool and heat.
